at our wedding, so there’s no specific color scheme
for guest attire—
feel free to wear ANY colour you like!
Formal Forest Fancy
We’re so excited to celebrate with you and can’t wait
to see everyone dressed up! There’s no need for black
tie or your old Matric dance gown—just aim for
something smart and stylish (blue jeans are a no-go!).
And please remind your Oom to leave his boere shirt
and boerboel broekie at home—some fashion statements
are better suited for the braai!
The ceremony is outdoors with a little walk involved.
While stilettos may look amazing, the might not
survive the journey (and we want your ankles to make
it too!). Think block heels, wedges or even chic
flats.
Sportswear & Other
Note while your Springbok shirt might nail the green
theme, let’s save the sportswear for game day. Trust
us, the walk to the ceremony isn’t that far—no
need for running shoes or a warm-up routine. Dress to
impress, not to sprint!
Here are some ideas to help you:
Ladies:
• Whether you choose a dress, skirt, jumpsuit, or
pants, go for what makes you feel great.
• Dresses can be any length—short or midi are ideal.
We advise against floor-length dresses as it’s an
outdoor ceremony, and they may get dirty.
• Think jewel tones, floral prints, or elegant
pastels.
Gents:
• Suits in ANY color are perfect.
• A fancy black jean with a sharp blazer is also
welcome.
